Privacy Policy

Summary

• Only parents and guardians aged 18+ can create accounts or buy. Children do not have accounts.
• The free tracker, games, countdown and Advent calendar work without an account and without us collecting personal information.
• We do not use advertising trackers, sell personal information, or share it for targeted advertising.
• Card details are entered on our payment processor's secure form and are never stored by us.

What we collect and why

• Account details (parent email, password managed by our sign-in provider, or Google sign-in profile name and email): to run your account and deliver purchases.
• Orders (products, amounts, dates, payment confirmation references, your consent choices): to deliver, support, refund and keep required business and tax records.
• Personalization you choose to enter (a child's first name or nickname and optional details like an age range, a favorite activity or a short message): only to create the keepsake you ordered.
• Mission and game progress: kept on your own device in your browser, not sent to us.
• Technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, errors): kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
• Messages you send us: to answer you.

We ask you not to enter a child's full name, surname, address, birth date, school, photos or voice recordings, and our forms do not ask for them.

Cookies and similar technology

We use only what is needed for the Site to work: sign-in session storage, and your browser's local storage for game progress. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. Our payment form is provided by our payment processor, which uses its own cookies for fraud prevention.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, under contracts limiting their use: our cloud hosting, database and file storage provider; Stripe, our payment processor (which collects your card details directly and may act as merchant of record for tax, fraud and dispute handling); our email delivery provider for order messages once email is enabled; and Google, if you choose Google sign-in. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to this policy.

How long we keep it

• Child personalization details are removed from our records 30 days after your keepsake is created. The finished PDF stays in your account so you can download it again, until you delete it or close your account.
• Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 7 years).
• Account details are kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days of a closure request, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your information, close your account, or withdraw marketing consent at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other US states), you may have additional rights, including to know what we collect, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising (we do neither). We will not treat you differently for using your rights. We verify requests by confirming control of the account email. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Marketing

We send marketing emails only if you tick the optional, unticked box at checkout. Every marketing email will include an unsubscribe link. Order and account messages are not marketing.

Children

The Site is family-friendly and some pages are designed for children to enjoy. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Read our Children's Privacy and Parent Information notice for details.

Security

Files are stored privately and downloaded through short-lived links, payment is handled by a PCI-compliant processor, and access to data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you of a breach affecting you as the law requires.

Where we operate

The Site is intended for families in the United States. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new date, and email account holders about material changes before they take effect. Change record: November 7, 2026 — full rewrite.
